Tiger has brought several new technologies to the world of real-time video on Mac OS X.  In order to use these new features, a new real-time compositing engine has been developed for the V2.5 of Modul8.

This engine is built on top of CoreVideo, resulting in much higher performance thanks to the usage of graphic card acceleration at a level that was not possible before.
